The Brief

Daren, the CEO, and founder of Novaflip, approached The Atom Lab with a simple, yet powerful brief: to take the Novaflip brand to the next level. In order to achieve this, we carefully audited all of Novaflip’s existing platforms and proposed a detailed plan of action. Starting with a website redesign, we created a new brand aesthetic as well as a fully rounded marketing strategy. To achieve this, we focused on several areas, starting with a paid social media campaign and working towards building an extensive content library. The next steps of the plan involved setting up a carefully thought out marketing funnel aimed at delivering high-quality leads.

The Solution

To begin with, we had a detailed look at Novaflip’s previous website and analysed its strong and weak points. We then made detailed suggestions on how to improve the user journey and the layout so they highlight what’s important. The old Novaflip website was outdated and didn’t provide a cohesive brand aesthetic and user journey. This lead to our first task in the project – to understand Novaflip’s unique selling points, as well as their goals.

Once we had a clear vison of what Novaflip wnated to achieve, we started by adding consistency throughout the visual elements and colours. In contrast with their previous eclectic style, we used a single illustration style for the graphics and streamlined the brand colours. Following that, we focused on the user journey and completely reworked the website hierarchy.

After the website and brand re-design, we focused on creating additional brand assets that mirror the website’s aesthetic and provide a cohesive cross-platform brand experience. For this task, we devised an organic social media strategy and aesthetic, as well as a content plan for SEO-optimised blog posts that we are currently implementing.
